London Legacy Development Corporation

Project Overview

The London Legacy Development Corporation was established in 2012, replacing the Olympic Park Legacy Company. It was formed as a Mayoral Development Corporation under the powers of the Localism Act 2011 to create a dynamic new metropolitan centre on the former Olympic site in Stratford, east London.

LLDC is now implementing an employer-led Training Association, working with major developers and construction employers along with training providers, colleges and local schools. Support has been secured from neighbouring local authorities, meaning that other key development sites in east London – such as the developments in Tower Hamlets around Canary Wharf – will be able to participate in, and expand, the GTA.

What our client said

“The team at THINK was instrumental in laying the foundations for the development of the QEOP TA. They provided informed analysis and invaluable advice throughout our feasibility stage and showed a great degree of responsiveness and proactivity in a rapidly changing policy environment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for work with others.”

— Paolo Nistri, Senior Regeneration Manager, LLDC
